William A. Hoskins - Unknown
I have just rediscovered the funeral notice from my great-grandfather. I know that he served in the 18th TN regiment CSA but do not know much more other than, 'He was a brave and true Confederate soldier, a good citizen, scrupulously honest and fair in his dealings with mankind...' He spent time in Jesup, GA and died in Murfreesboro, TN. His date of birth and death were not stated.

My grandmother Frank Hoskins Guidry was born in the late 1890's (she would never state her true birthdate) and died in 1977. She shared with me that her father was much older than her mother. Of course, I wish I had recorded the stories and information she shared with me. We were really close.-FM
