A G Comstock - Artificer |
This may or may not be a relative. Few records survive for this man. Only the intials are listed. My ancestor's whole name was Abel Galpin Comstock and he was living in Peoria Ill. before the war. He worked as a train conductor. He may be the same man listed on the rolls of this unit. He was born in 1837 in Berkshire County Mass. in 1837. Hopefully more information will turn up and we can determine if this is my relative.
