Elias Fourl - Private
Elias Fourl lived in Berlinsville, Pa. His pension records tell that he was 'wounded in the side' at Gettysburg. He survived his wounds. Years later he died in Shamokin, Pennsylvania and is buried in Shamokin Cemetary. Elias jokingly referred to his old division as the 'Flying Moons' (refering to the 11th Corps Badge) this has been passed down through our family.

Andrew Joseph Albert - Private
Andrew mustered in on 11 Oct 1962 at Harrisburg, PA, commanded by Capt. Isaac Buzzard. Andrew was killed by a ''shot to the temple'' on 1 July 1863. With that date & information about the PA deployment, I presume he was killed at/near the Barlow''s Knoll site. I have visited Barlow''s Knoll & the Pennsylvania Monument (his name is inscribed with the date of death). There was also a Samuel Albert in the same Co. & I wonder if they were brothers/relatives. I would like to correspond to anyone with info or leads about Andrew J. Albert, the regiment, company, Samuel Albert or Capt. Buzzard; will share what info I have.

Anthony ALBERT - Corporal
Anthony Albert was a member of Co. K, 153rd PA. He was born in 1838 and survived the war. He died in 1905 in Bangor, PA. Anthony had family members as part of the same company. His brother Philip J. Albert (b.1842) was a private in Co. K, being wounded in Gettysburg. Additionally, it appears that another member of the company, Andrew J. Albert is the uncle of Anthony and Philip. There is a book called the ''History of the 153rd Regt.'' that contains rosters and statistics about the entire regiment who were at Chancellorsville, and were in Gettysburg for all three days. There is a 153rd monument on the Gettysburg battlefield.
