My great, great, great Grandfather was Pvt. Stephen B. Trautman, Company G, of the Pennsylvania 137th Volunteer Infantry, enlisted at Butler, PA, September 25, 1862 served through June 1, 1863. His name is mispelled in the PA archives (Troutman), although I have authenticated his records through family archives. Interested in any descendants of men that may have served in the 137th and ancillary information from that time period. Grandfather Trautman was born in Hellering, Aslace-Lorraine, in 1824.
