John Hile inlisted with his brother Simon Hile in company B 103rd Pa in 1861, in 1863 when his inlistment was up he re-inlisted as a veteran, he was captured by the Rebs in 1864 I think it was at New Bern North Carolina, he died at Andersonville in October 1864, Dam Rebs Starved him to death, he left a large family

William Kleck(my 3rd great-grand uncle) was born 7 November 1840 in Germany to William Kleck(1810-1870)and Catherine Heinrick. The family emigrated to the U.S. in 1852 and settled in Clarion County, Pennsylvania. William enlisted as a private on 22 February 1862 at the age of 21. He was captured at Plymouth, North Carolina on 20 April 1864 and sent to the notorious Andersonville POW camp in Andersonville, Georgia. He was mustered out on 25 Jun 1865 in New Berne, North Carolina. William died 25 December 1911 in Clarion County, Pennsylvania.
