Clark Osler

Clark Osler resided in Camden, NJ, but he joined the 72nd Pa. Infantry. The regiment was known as the Fire Zouaves because it recruited men who had been firemen in civilian life. Before the war, Clark Osler worked as a fireman on the ferry boat running between Camden and Philadelphia. He later became a railroad engineer in Camden.
