Received invalid pension due to chronic arthritis and died age 46 due to severe curvature of the spine.

He was the grandson of Col. John Kelly, of Revolutionary fame, son of the late Joseph Kelly, of Kelly Tp., son-in-law of Martin Hann of Lewisburg, [PA] where he enlisted.'
