Orange Seamans enlisted in the 101st Ohio Infantry on August 8, 1862. He participated in the Battles of Perryville and Stones River. He was discharged on January 9, 1863 at Bowling Green, Kentucky for disability. He died in 1909 in Norwalk, Ohio.

Henry Ernsberger - Private   
Henry Ernsberger is my great great uncle (fathers side) he joined the 101 Ohio August 30, 1862 in Hartland, Ohio. After fighting in the Battle of Perryville he fell sick and died November 2, 1862. He was buried beside a farm house on the old state road (Lexington to Nashville road) 1/2 mile south of the Green River in Green County Kentucky
