Harrison Houseman, my Great Great Grandfather, was born in Highland Co., Ohio in 1844. Later moving to Ross Co., Ohio. He enlisted at age 20 as a private in Company G, 33rd OVI on February 25th, 1864 at Chillicothe, Ohio. Located at Columbus, Ohio on March 6, 1864, he joined the Regiment on April 7, 1864 (location not noted on Muster Roll card). Harrison mustered out on July 12, 1865 at Louisville, Kentucky. He later married, and moved to Missouri, where he died in 1874 at age 30.
