Harrison Houseman - Private

Harrison Houseman, my Great Great Grandfather, was born in Highland Co., Ohio in 1844. Later moving to Ross Co., Ohio. He enlisted at age 20 as a private in Company G, 33rd OVI on February 25th, 1864 at Chillicothe, Ohio. Located at Columbus, Ohio on March 6, 1864, he joined the Regiment on April 7, 1864 (location not noted on Muster Roll card). Harrison mustered out on July 12, 1865 at Louisville, Kentucky. He later married, and moved to Missouri, where he died in 1874 at age 30.

John was with Civil War: Bourneville Co G 33 OVI enrolled August 29, 1861 was discharged September 19, 1862 at Nashville on Surgeons Certificate of Disability and then he enrolled June 19, 1863 in Bourneville Co A OH Heavy Artillery.
