Joseph R. Seamans - 1st Lieutenant |
Joseph Seamans enlisted in the 118th New York Infantry, Co., A., following his resignation from the 22nd New York on February 22, 1862. He was promoted to Captain and then to Brevet Major. Following his discharge in 1865, he married Rosanna Carpenter. Joseph died on May 6, 1889 in Glens Falls, New York and is buried in Bay Street Cemetery.

Horace was promoted to Wagon Master and mustered out on June 13, 1865 at Richmond, Virginia. At the time of his enlistment he was married to Elvia M. Foster. Horace died on October 16, 1887 and is buried in Hazelwood Cemetery in Grinnell, Iowa.
