Killed in action, January 16, 1865 as a result of powder magazine explosion which occurred Sunday morning after Union victory.

He seems to have made it all the way through the war. I have not seen his name on an lists of wounded and was mustered out with the rest of the unit. All I have at this point is his enlistment date and place, unit assigned and company. I would like to find out more information him.
