John D. Egbert - Private
I am writing a history of the men and campaigns of the 107th NY. I welcome any information about the regiment. It should be source information rather than what you may have read in a book. Pvt Egbert lost his arm by amputition after being hit by artillery shell fragments at the batle of Antietam.
