Byron Royal Seamans - Private   
Byron Royal Seamans enlisted on August 10, 1861 in the 50th N.Y. Engineers, Co. C at the age of twenty-four. He served along side his brother Isaac and was promoted to Corporal on September 15, 1861. Byron died of disease on October 31, 1861 at Hall's Hill, Virginia and is buried in Arlington National Cemetery.

Isaac Fenlon Seamans - Musician   
Isaac Seamans enlisted in the 50th New York Engineers, Co., C on September 13, 1861 at the age of twenty-seven. Isaac was promoted to Full Artificer and later to Full Corporal and mustered out June 13, 1865 at Fort Barry, Virginia. He married Clara L. Jewett in 1866 and on December 2, 1917 he died at Fulton, New York.
