Was killed at Malvern Hill, Virgina on July 1, 1862. He listed his residence as Stephentown, New York, his occupation as farmer, and his age as 23 when he enlisted. There is no know grave.

Murray was from Ashfield, Massachusetts and was I believe either 19 or 20 at the time of his enlistment. He was wounded at the Battle of Malvern Hill in 1862 and later transferred to the 37th Massachusetts when the 10th was mustered out of service.
