Wounded by a shell at Pamunkey River May 23 1864.
Recuperated in Washington DC and was discharged January 15 1865.
He died during his trip home to Maine on August 14, 1865
He was 28 years old.

This reenlistment form was sworn and subscribed to Commander of 17th Infantry Catlett Station Virginia before J. Delaney Captain
