Married twice, 1st wife on 30 May 1865 Allen Co, KY to Mary Frances (Glover) Hatler and they had 8 children. She died 14 Feb 1888 in Cole Co, MO. Eight months later G. Campbell married his 2nd wife Louisa Jane Whitehead 25 OCt 1888 in MO and they had 10 children together. If anyone would like more info on G. William B O Jackson - Private   
William B O Jackson mustered in with his regiment at Camp Boyle KY on 20 November 1861. He contracted pneumonia and died on 20 January 1862. He was one of 250 enlisted soldiers that the 9th lost to disease. He was 40 years old at the time of his death. William was survived by his wife Sarah, sons Thomas, Samuel and James, and by two daughters, Jemima and Nancy. Sarah received a civil war pension. The Jackson family farm was located near Thompkinsville, KY.

James Miller Tallman - Private   
James Miller Tallman was a resident of Jackson and Clay Counties from the 1840s until at least 1891, when he is shown as a Male Voter in District 2 of Clay. In the 1890 Veterans Schedule of Districts 1-3 of Clay, he is shown to have served as a Private in Company D of the Kentucky 9th Infantry Regiment from 16-Sep-1861 until 15-May-1863 when he was wounded from shot. It is also noteworthy that Thomas Marion Bean from Jackson County also served in Company D of the Kentucky 9th Infantry Regiment during this same timeframe.

Jacob Warren Robinson, was the son of Wm Robinson and Mary Warren of Monroe co., KY. Wm was the son of Jacob Robinson (1773-1840) (m Elizabeth Wheelock, 1794, Territory South of the Ohio River). Jacob married Frances E. (sometimes given as 'Agnes') Rexroad/Rexrode (her mother was named Agnes) and for a time lived in Young America, IL. They later moved and settled in or near Seneca, KS. I have a photo of the husband and wife. Sons of Jacob W. include Homer Warren, and William, also a dau. Mary (Lyons). Cousin against cousin..... the 9th at Vicksburg... Jacob had 5 first cousins on the other side at Vicksburg (Co. B, 43rd Tenn.)
