I have just discovered that this is my great grandfather on my mother's side. He was in the Spanish American War and I have JUST obtained a photo of him from September of 1898 in camp Cuba Libre at Jacksonville FL. I have also found out that he was a musician in the 8th US Cavalry Band during the Boxer Uprising of 1900 in Peking, China. He also was a Sergeant in the 14th Company of Heavy Coast Artillery during World War One.
