Lewis Ellsworth Dyer - Unknown
|
Lewis Dyer Co. F. 11th Iowa was pretty old when he inlisted. He was born in New York about 1815. He is buried at Chaple Hill Cemetary in Scott County Iowa. His grave has a GAR marker. Family history says there is a drummer boy buried in that graveyard too but I don't know any more than that. He was my great great grandfather.
