David was my great great grandfather..he was born Jan 29 1834 in Bartholomew Co.,IN.He died Jan 20 1863.I do not know if he was KIA,or mortally wounded during battle along the Yazoo bluffs near Vicksburg, but according to battle dates, the latter is more plausible. He died 9 days short of his 29th birthday, and left a wife and 3 children.
