Cpl Lowe's last name sometimes appears as Low. He mustered in at Columbus,IN as a private in the winter of 1863 and was mustered out as a corporal in January, 1866 at Raleigh, NC.
Cpl Lowe was wounded in the leg while 'liberating' chickens from a farm in Tennesee. Lowe recovered. The chickens were last seen in a Co. G stew pot.

William C. Arthur(Fleetwood) - Private |
William C. Fleetwood joined the 120th Indiana Volunteer Infantry under the name William C. Arthur, his step-father's surname. He joined at the formation of the regiment in March 1864. During the Georgia Campaign, he was wounded while advancing with the skirmish line between Lost Mountain and Kenesaw Mountain on June 16, 1864. He was shot in the left hand which left him disabled for life. To get a disability pension, he had to prove that he fought under the last name of Arthur.
