Peter Quinn was a Great Great Uncle and was captured ca Nov 1863 and was held at Andersonville Prison. He died in Nov 1864 from scurvy and his grave at Andersonville is 10531. He was 20 years old.

Eli Clemmens was born in about 1841 in Sycamore,IL. He was living in Sycamore, IL when he was mustered in the 52nd Illinois Infantry on November 19, 1861. He re-enlisted and was mustered in the regiment again on January 9, 1864. He mustered out of the service on July 6, 1865. He moved to Blue Earth County, MN where he married Susan Latimore. The couple had six children. Eli died July, 5, 1913 in Clay County, MN. He is buried in the cemetery at Atlantic Lutheran Church, near Ulen, MN
