Cicero Virgial Akridge - Private   
Born in Cherokee County Alabama in 1839 he was the youngest son of Levi and Nancy Akridge. He enlisted 6-12-1861, was wounded in the knee at Thoroughfare Ga, Virginia in 1862 and never able to return to service with the 9th. He married in Chattooga County, Georgia and raised his family until the 1890 when he moved his family to Texas. His wife Harriet (Moss)claimed a pension in Texas after his death 6-11-1911 in Anderson County, Texas. He was one of three brothers and numerous cousins who served From Chattooga County the Confederate Army.

Enlisted as a 2nd Corporal in Compnay B of Anderson's Brigade, Joseph was born in 1840 in Chattooga County, Georgia. He was the brother of Charles D. Price who died at Vicksburg. Joseph died at the Battle of the Wilderness in May of 1864. He never married.
