Enlisted as a Private on 26 April 1861 at the age of 18. Slightly wounded on 25 June 1862 at King's School House, VA. Returned to regiment that month. Wounded in the flesh of the right leg on 5 May 1864 at the Wilderness, VA.

James enlisted 28th August 1862. He was suffering from Rheumatism. It finally caught up with him and he was unable to carry out his duties. He was given a diability discharge on 29 May 1863.

His actual rank when he died was Ensign but there was no option for that rank. Ensigns were the Color Bearers for the Regiment. Richard Enlisted in the 4th Georgia Infantry on 4/26/1861. He Participated in the following Battles: Malvern Hill, South Mountain, Sharpsburg, Fredricksburg, Chancellorsville, Gettysburg, Wilderness, Spotsylvania Court House, Monocacy, Winchester, Fishers Hill (died carrying the colors of the 4th Georgia)

Robert enlisted in the 4th Georgia Infantry on 4/26/1861. He Participated in the following Battles: Malvern Hill, South Mountain, Sharpsburg, Fredricksburg, Chancellorsville, Gettysburg, Wilderness, Spotsylvania Court House (He died at the Bloody Angle during Hancocks attack)

Thomas enlisted on 4/26/1861 and was discarged with a disability on 11/14/1861.

William enlisted in the 4th Georgia Infantry on 4/26/1861. My great grandfather was from Chambers County, Alabama but probably his father owned land in Georgia also. His brother in law, Joel M.chivers was also in his unit.

joined Co E, 4th Ga Inf, in April 1861, at Albany, GA. He fought with same until the end of the war and was with Gen. Lee at Appomattox C.H. He was wounded at Malvern Hill - (Seven Days' Battle)He died in 1920, and is buried in the CSA Cemetery in Orlando, Florida.

Enlisted as a Private on 28 April 1861 at the age of 21. Promoted to 1st Sergeant on 30 September 1861. Killed on 2 May 1863 at Chancellorsville, VA.

Enlisted in Georgia Toombs Volunteers as a Pvt. on 4/29/1861 and was wounded at Sharpsburg, Md. 9/17/1862. Surrendered at Appomattox, Va. 5/9/1865. received two pensions: Georgia & Tennessee for his service to the Confederacy.

Wylie Clark Was My Great Grandfather he later moved to Arkansas where he is buried.

my grgrgrandfather was from Resaca,Ga. He entered the war in 1861 at the onset and surrendered with the unit at Appamattox,CH, Va. He was my mothers fathers father.He died April 15 1924 at Resaca and is buried beside his wife Martha Culverhouse Bowman in Corinth Baptist Ch. Cemetary Resaca,Ga.

My grandfather Willie Bunt (1976?) said he was an engineer.

Enlisted April 27, 1861, Americus GA.18 years. Discharged Jan 1862 due to a physical disability (pulmonary disease). His brother, Robert Boring, was in the same regiment and later died at Gettysburg.

Enlisted May 27, 1861 Americus GA.20 yrs old. Captured at Gettysburg. Died POW in/around Gettysburg July 24th 1963 as a result of right leg amputation. Burial unknown.

Wounded on September 17, 1862 at Sharpsburg, Maryland and later killed on May 5, 1864 at the Wilderness, Virginia.
