This Regiment is also called Thomas's Legion. Thomas Ferguson was in Thomas' Legion and not the 69th.

my maternal ggg grandad Jacob M. Setzer b7-30-1827 Jacob served in the CSA in Love's Regiment, 69th North Carolina Inf Regiment; Thomas Legion Company E He served in this regiment with Adolphus Henry...his sons father in law! buried in Lowe Family Cemetery Haywood, NC

J. M. Anderson was in the Thomas Legion of Indians and Highlanders since the 69th NC was not formally recognized. He was assigned to Love's Regiment.

William A Beck was my Great-Grandfather. Enlisted July 19, 1862. Wounded Sept. 19, 1864, leg amputated Oct. 4, died Oct. 26. He was in Company F during his entire enlistment.

John is my GGGGrandfather from his daughter Betsy Mariah. He enlisted on May 13, 1862 in the 29th N.C. Infantry until he left and came to Thomas' Legion on April 12, 1863 and served until the end of the war.
