Trying to find full name and what happened to him. Confederate Army drafted him when he war 17 years old into the junior reserves. He was a 2nd Cpl in Company C 70th Regiment July 1864.

He was conscripted into Co. E, 70th Regiment, which was a consolidation of Junior Reserve Unit. (Special Order No. 22, Conscript Office, Raleigh, NC, dated 30 September, 1864)

My Great Great Grandfather enlisted July 12, 1864 into the 1 Reg't N.C. Junior Reserves at Garysburg, N.C. by Capt. Loole at the age of 17. Sick at Pettigrew General Hospital No. 13, Raleigh, N.C. from Sept. 4 1864 to Sept. 19, 1864 with Febris Remittens. Transferred to hospital Nov. 8, 1864. Absent sick on muster roll Jan. and Feb. 1865. Died 6-30-1898. Buried in Outland Cemetery, Gatesville, N.C.
