Born: August 30, 1844 in Medusa, Albany County, NY. Enlisted: September 20, 1862 as a private in the 32nd NYSV. Transfered: May 24, 1863 to A Company, 121st NYSV Reported missing, presumed killed: May 10, 1864 at Spotsylvania. Later records show him taken prisoner and held at Florence, SC Paroled: February 26, 1865 at North East Ferry, NC. Returned to duty: April 10, 1865 Discharged: June 25, 1865 at Halls Hill, Va. Married: Julia Eldridge (d. 3/14/1886); 2 children, Isaac, 1869 and George, 1873. Re-married: maggie Arnett, 12/19, 1891 Died: October 28, 1921, St. Peters Hospital, Albany NY

My Great Great Great Great Grandfather. He was wounded at the battle of Spotsylvania.

George Parkhurst was killed in the Wilderness on May 6, 1864

Enlisted as a Private on 9 August 1862 at the age of 21. Mustered in Company F, 121st Infantry Regiment New York on 23 August 1862. Died of disease on 24 October 1862 at Bakersville, MD.

Captain Nelson O. Wendell was killed at Salem Church on 3 May 1863. He had been in the 44th New York prior to recruiting his company for the 121st.
