Hello. I have just started delving into my geneology and I have discovered that apparently my great-great grandfather David Cheney was enlisted in the Battery G 1st Light Artillery New York. I do not know what his military title was.I actually came across some pics of fellow soldiers that he fought with. This search is even more special to me due to the fact that I was adopted!
