Christopher Cornelius Thurston - Private   
C. Cornelius served as a Private in the Civil War, 15th Vermont Regiment, from October 22, 1862 to August 5, 1863, and received a state memorial at the time of his discharge. At some point he moved to Somerville, MA and then North Cambridge, MA where he was a street-car driver.

Lucius Hurlbert Thurston - Corporal   
Lucius Thurston served as a Corporal in the Civil War, 15th Vermont Regiment, from October 22, 1862 to August 5, 1863. Following the war he was the captain of the state militia at least until 1892. He was a farmer in Barre, Vermont. He died August 8, 1918 in Barre, Vermont.
