John Winchester - Private   
My 2nd great grand uncle, Pvt. John Winchester enlisted in Co. I, 116th PA Volunteer Infantry on June 11, 1862. He enlisted for 3 years. He mustered in August 28, 1862. He was killed at the Battle of Fredericksburg on December 13, 1862 but his name doesn't appear on the rolls of battle dead. He was listed as 'missing since the Battle of Fredericksburg.' His wife Isabella received a pension beginning in 1864 for herself & their daughter Anna.
