Simeon Johnson on July 22 1864 was wounded in the left leg and captured and was in Andersonville 8 months, after the war returned home and started a family and later moved to Missouri, Christian County, Highlandville twp. Simeon Evans Johnson died in 1916. Simeon Johnson was my gggrandfather.

Enlisted Nov 15, 1861 Company F 63rd Ohio Vol Infantry, Served with Sherman on march to the sea. Taken prisoner July 22, 1864 and sent to Andersonville. Released and was on the way home on the Sultana when it blew up killing more than 1500 on April 27, 1865.
