Merritt F. Van Arman - Private
Need confirmation, but believe he was in the 9th Regiment as a Private in Company I. He was married to #1 Eunice Thomas, #2 Abigail Nale, #3 Elizabeth Voagner (Wagner). Conflicting reports indicate he MAY have been a 'Corporal in Company J, 9th Regiment, Michigan Infantry, enlisted 7 March 1865, discharged 26 September 1865, 6 mo, 19 days'.
