John D Leonard - Private
|
Enlisted as a volunteer in Harrisburg at Camp Curtin on August 17, 1862 to serve 3 years.
He was wounded in combat (I think Petersburg - still trying to determine the facts of this), shot in the left shoulder for which he received a pension of eight dollars a month.
He did serve the full 3 years, being discharged on June 23, 1865 having been mustered out of company after the war.
