Peter Megee - Private |
|
Pvt Megee (sometimes listed as Magee) volunteered in 1862. He served for about a year and received a disability discharge on 24 March 1863. He died in 1865. A Pennsylvania military history states that he was buried at the Nashville National Cemetery, but they have no record of him. He may be one of the many unknown soldiers buried there.
My great grandmother Mary Ann Megee (later Eagleton) received a pension for him.
