His grandfather also Elisha Geer from Lake George NY fought and was killed in the war of 1812, 23rd NY Militia at the Battle of Plattsburgh, and his father Roger Geer was in the Connecticut Militia 23 months in the RevWar. Elisha is a Jamestown and Mayflower Decsendant.

my great uncle was born in 1847 from alleghney county pa went into army in 1864 was wonded at battle of wilderson va & died in 1932 he was shot 3inches below the right shoulder went to hospital in frederickburg va when he died the bullet ws still in his shoulder
