michael was wounded at the battle of atlanta on 22nd, dies on the 29th. he was only 21 years old. buried in a plot 3 years later by order to make a union cemetery at marrietta georgia. his picute is in the book..'they died to young' sold at all battle grounds...love to hear from any of the realitives of any from the 39th.
