He joined in 1861, Nov 9th and served until 22 December 1863 and was mustered out on that latter date so he could volunteer for the 14th Ky Regiment. He wasw 5' 10' light complexion, blue eyes an light hair according to the discharge at Warren, Virginia. He was 24 years old.
