I have a copy of my Great-grandfather's discharge from the 69th Regiment, Infantry, Company C, Missouri Volunteers. Service dates are 16 AUG 1864 to 2 AUG 1865. I would like to find out more about where his unit was during this time frame. He was born in Hamburg, Germany, and came to America as a farmer when he was 15. He enlisted at age 20. Later, the family changed their surname from MUSHANI to MUSCHANY.
