OWEN, ONLEY 3rd CPL - Co D - enl 24 Jul 1862 in Randolph Co, furloughed 30 days from 14 Apr 1863. McNeill's Rgt Initially. In Hart's Rgt Mar & Apr 1863. 3rd Cpl, Rogan's Rgt; on Co. Muster Roll, Jul & Aug 1863. Joined Company D, 30th AR Infantry Regiment on July 24, 1862. By April of 1863 he was a 3rd Corporal. Lastly in Co L, 15th MO Cav Rgt. Died Jun 1884, Randolph Co, AR. Buried in Pratt Cem, Ripley Co, MO. I have two 2nd Great-Grandfathers in this unit.
