Father of Henry and Charles Parker. The three volunteered into the 33rd at its inception at Springfield Massachusetts August 1862. Jonah was 45 years old at enlistment. Jonah was shot in the neck at the Battle of Raccoon Creek (?) in Tennessee but survived. Jonah may have been named for Jonas Parker, KIA at Lexington 1775.
