Hiram H. Tibbs - Sensabaugh - Private
Hiram H. Tibbs, aka Hiram Sensabaugh, was my maternal Great Grandfather. Unknown as to why he changed his name from Tibbs to Sensabaugh when he entered the Civil War in 1864 and back to Tibbs after being discharged in 1865. When he filed his application for his Civil War Pension, he applied under both names.

Thomas Henderson Book - Private
Thomas is my great great uncle, brother of my great great grandfather Jacob Book from Lewis County. I do have a copy of a letter he wrote to his mother while gone. He had obviously lied about his age in order to go to war. His parents were William S. Book and Julia A. Scott.
