Cicero Comstock McCloud - Private
|
My great-grandfather was in Indiana's 63rd Regiment company G and was assigned to Provost Guard Duty. I histories I read it says that 'all companies later united in ...Kentucky' and Cicero McCloud was mustered out on June 21, 1865 in Greensboro, NC. I'd like to know exactly where the provost guards of Company G were stationed, or did they follow other Companies to wherever they engaged in battle. I welcome any information.
