NOTE: Francis Marion served as a Private in Company 'B' of the 107th Illinois Volunteer Infantry from 12 AUG 1862 to 21 JUN 1865. He enlisted in Clinton, DeWitt, Illinois by Joseph J. Kelly and mustered in on 04 SEP 1862 in Springfield, Sangamon, Illinois by Lt. Boies. He mustered out on 21 June 1865 in Salisbury, Rowan, North Carolina by Captain Briscoe.

Obediah B. Schenck - Private   
Obediah (O.B) Schenck was born 6 November 1839 in Indiana. Obediah enlisted on August 31, 1862 for a period of three years at Clinton, Illinois. He enlisted as a private in Company B, 107th Regiment of Illinois Volunteers serving from August 31, 1862 until January 26, 1863 in this regiment. He later transferred to Colvin's Battery K 1st Illinois Light Artillery. Obediah mustered out of the army at Springfield, Illinois on June 19, 1865. Obediah died 3 November 1914 at Cherryvale, Kansas.
