Captured by Dick Taylor's 2nd Texas Cavalry at Bayou Boeuf, LA on 24 JUN 1863 and paroled Brashear City, LA 29 JUN 1863 (POW records). Member of GAR Isbell Post 43 (Naugatuck, CT). Buried at Gunntown Cemetery in Naugatuck, CT
