He is my Great, Great Grandfather. The 206th was one of the first regiments to march into Richmond on the 3rd of April, 1865 only to find it evacuated and on fire.

William Johnston died in 1925 at age of 83. He is buried in East Mahoning Baptist Cemetery in Pennsylvania.

John Fisher in Company I 206th Penn Volunteer Infantry in the war of the Rebellion who after the evacuation of Richmond, VA was on a forced march to take possession of said city in crossing a brook or run he slipped and fell thereby causing an injury to his testicles which he stated to me disabled him from manual labor and lung trouble and was the result from which he died.
