Christian Kentner - Private   
Born in Wurtemberg,Germany 1840, Moved to Cincinnati Ohio. A Tanner by trade. Member of the Union Army, his brother John asked him if he got back from the war to take care of his widow and daughter. He kept his promise and married her. They had three children together. Christian died Feb. 17 1930 in Cincinnati Ohio, buried in Spring Grove Cemetery

John Kentner - Private   
John was born Wurtenburg Germany 1834, Member of the Union Army and Died of swamp fever sometime 1863 in Louisiana. Buried somwhere in Louisiana. He and his wife had a daughter together, His wife then married his brother after Johns death.
John is also listed as a member of 38th Regiment, Ohio Infantry
