Company A
Hiram "Henry" Ripley
- Private
My fourth great uncle. He enlisted at 18 and died at 20. He fought in over ten engagements before dying at the Battle of Missionary Ridge. A family story says he was shot seven times. He died just days before his enlistment term ended. No wife or children to remember him. Only us.

Company B
James Roberts

James as far as my research has no middle name. I am not sure about his company. His mustered out with the Regiment but later recieved a pension for service related illness. Piles and Camp fever. He was from Ashland Ky but enlisted in Portsmouth, Ohio. I have found no record of prior service during the war. He originally was from the Tug Valley region of Kentucky. He lived for several years in the Logan County Virginia area. He is my Great Great Grandfather.
