Charles H. Weygant - Colonel
|
My mother was Janice Weygant and I''m still researching if Charles was a great grand father? Not sure. I do know he wrote a history of the ''Orange Blossoms'' (124th) that was then inspiration for Stephan Crane''s Red Badge of Courage. You can find Weygant''s book reprinted and available for purchase on amazon.com. It''s an interesting and poignant book. Am interested in hearing from others about this regiment. - Chris W. - cwehner@soldierstudies.org
