Company C
Alonzo Wetherell - Private
When the war of 1861 broke out this man of 53 years enlisted and three of his sons went with him. The obituary of George says that he was assigned to Co. C., Fourth Minn. which is likely where they were all assigned. George also had the misfortune of being wounded and returned home to be mustered out October 11th 1864 with the rank of Corporal. That date that son Russel and Alonzo came home and were mustered out isn't known at this time.
