9th Kentucky Infantry
Company A
George M. Bibb - Private
Found out today that George was part of the Confederate army. He served with the 9th Kentucky Mounted Infantry, Company A from 1861 to 1865. I talked to a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy out of Owensboro, KY. and found out that my Grandmother was a memeber of the 'Children of the Confederacy' and that she showed through lineage that she was related to George Bibb and that he was a memeber of this unit.
