Company D
Bowman Harvey Younker - 4th Corporal
I have a good amount of information about my gg grandfather Bowman H. Younker, sometimes his surname was spelled Jounker, or even Younger. But on his tombstone it's spelled Younker. The name is English Origin and an uncommon one at that.

Anyway, I came across this website and just had to play along. I'm looking for every scrap of info about Bowman, I want to know if he carried a sharps carbine if that's possible. I have his pension and most records from the NA on a trip to DC a few years ago, and a hefty amount if work on ancestry.com; if you'd like some information from me. Any good books or articles about this company D or any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks for your time.
